I am Candice Jenkins, founder of YourHeart Sickle Cell Foundation, a Black woman born and raised with sickle cell who turned years of pain, prayer, and persistence into purpose. For decades I sat in cold ER rooms, fought to be believed, and whispered, "Lord, use this story." That whisper became this foundation. As a motivational speaker and lifelong warrior, I understand the loneliness, the bills, the silent tears, and the deep desire to live fully, not just survive. Now I walk beside adult warriors through advocacy, education, financial support, nutritional wellness, and spiritual encouragement, so hearts can heal, minds renew, and spirits rise again.
